Yup I even have a solar charger for it in case I am in the wilds, they have some remote towers on the mountains up here and if that dont work I have an iridium Sat. phone if things get sticky.

Yes. My daughter lives out of state and calls me a couple times a day. I sure wouldn't want to miss that :)

Yes, I use it as my alarm clock to wake up so it better be fully charged!

nah actually most of the time i forget to do it for a few days, even when the battery is completely dead i forget to do so which is probably a bad thing.
