when you suggest for them to look at paul they say he is extreme. there is nothing wrong with going back in the direction he wants to take us. in case you conservatives haven't noticed, we have been going in the wrong direction for about 20 years. we had bush with a republican house and sentate for 5 years and couldn't close the borders, even after 9/11. what are you conservatives looking for? more of the same or real change. if you say you want real change from the status quo of lobbyists and illegals, and open ended war, you need to really at least consider ron paul. the military supports ron paul more than any other candidate. he receiced 49.5% of the total campaign contributions from the military. the cia's head of bin laden unit, michael sheurer says ron paul has the right view on the war on terror. he is the only man that understands the treat we face from terrorists.

wcsteel, if our navy had not been in arab territory, S.S. Cole never would have been attacked. its time we go back to minding our own business or the terrorists simply won't stop. you have to understand your enemy, if you plan on defeating them.

Ron Paul didn't blame America he blamed the policy of intervention that we have had for the last 50 years. it is and always will be a doomed policy.
if Hitler couldn't stop terrorism and bombs in his country with his laws or lack of laws or just take anyone away that he wanted. why do we think we can stop them on our soil by stripping away our rights as Americans. the politicians in office now are setting a very dangerous president.
you may like bush and the policy's he has put into effect concerning the patriot act and all that come with it. but he is in office only one more year. will you trust Hillary with the same power. or if you are Dem's do you really want republicans with that power. the only way to be a free and safe society , is to remain one. and right now with the laws in effect right now we really are in danger , not from the terrorist, but from our government
Ron Paul 08 the true Conservative.

Wow are these answers straight from Hannity fan club, scary.
Yes Ron Paul scares people in power. The people in power own our media. Many Americans like the first three answerers are educated through Tv by these elite. However if they would research facts instead of Hitler propaganda that is set out by the elite they could see just what a hero Ron Paul is. These people are the minority Ron Paul is huge with people that believe in the constitution and our freedoms. He is bold enough to expose the lies that have given so much power to these elite. His 10 terms being voted in to office for doing exactly what he said he would is a abnormally. Never has a politician turned back into the treasury the remaining funds from their previous years budget as does Ron Paul for 20 years straight. His knowledge and experience far exceeds all in the entire race. The only man to save our country and freedom, or we will fall completely into a fascist state.
Wake up everything your Tv reports is wrong.

You're right, Ron Paul is the correct person to straighten out the mess we're in. However, we've actually been going in the wrong direction for a whole lot longer than 20 years. Watch this movie:
Go to Google then select "video"
then search within video "Freedom Fascism Authorized"
You'll get "America: Freedom to Fascism" on the first hit. Ron Paul is actually in this movie. Watch it.

Conservatives love to accuse the liberals of being dependent on the government. From the womb to the tomb, right? The truth is that those conservatives are just as dependent on the government as the liberals are. They trust the government to protect them, just as the liberals do. But they trust the government to spend $500,000,000,000+/yr on the military and not to use that military foolishly. The government can't be trusted to do that. But don't try to convince most people of that. They'll accuse you of being a traitor, when in actuality, you're more loyal to the principles that our nation was established upon than they ever will be.

Why is it that when Ron Paul fans come on the net they always try to misrepresent him as being mainstream and complain he is treated unfairly rather than try to answer the valid criticisms of his nutcase policies?
Why do Ron Paul fans think Americans who have soundly rejected the Libertarian party will suddenly support one who just because he is wearing a Republican hat?

Ron Paul lost my vote when he blamed America. ( Yes I watched the debate and heard exactly what he said)
I wasn't on the Cole but I was in the middle east when it happened. That was mine and most of the Navy's turning point on fighting terrorism in the world. America didn't wake up to the sailors calls of doing something about it until a year later when "we told you so" was quite enough of response.
Funny I gave you my view but it isn't what you want to hear. Terrorist have been attacking America for years. If you mind your own business they will attack you here. Ron Paul needs to pull his head out of his *** and realise they want to rule the world by Sharia law and will not stop until everyone is the same or dead. The same thing goes for Ron Paul followers.

He's too squirrely.
And he does not realize the threat Saddam was. And Iran is today.
A state sponser of terrorism with nukes. How can that be OK?
And Saddam was thought to at least be trying. And he had already lost to us and was not doing what the ceasefire said.
It's not like Bush decided to go after him on a whim!
