I'm a sophomore in high school & my english teacher has assigned a very difficult project. This project is worth 95% of our grade for the semester. Anyways.. we are writing papers on 9/11 and how it has effected ourselves.... but... it is required that we talk to an actual person who was involved somehow in the 9/11 tragedy. This means they had a relative die from the attack, they survived the attack, they were a firefighter helping during the attack, etc. I'm having NO luck at all... so if anyone could please please please help me out here.. i would GREATLY appreciate it! If you don't feel like talking about it, that's ok, i understand completely! Just send me a message!

Yes.. i think it's actually a very stupid assignment.. and so do the 20 parents that have called him so far about it. Anyways... i need someone who was actually involved in it, but the guy who called in sick might be able to help

That's quite a tall order for your teacher to give.
The closest I am to a direct connection is that a good friend of mine worked in the restaurant at the top of the WTC -- and had called in sick that day because of a bad head cold.

Get on the phone to some of the New York city fire stations or their public relations department.! They will be more than glad to help you. Haven't known a fireman yet anywhere in the world that will not help anyone anywhy they can,.]
You say this is for English? Civics or government maybe but not English. That's about the same as making it 95% of your Trig and Algebra grade.
