Why? I'm Republican and proud. I don't care if you agree with me or not, i just want to know how you feel. If your going to be rude to me or anyone else for what they believe, than don't bother saying anything.

Independent, proud American and veteran.

I like what you said about not supporting those who would be rude to others based on a different opinion. Does that mean you do not support the many Republicans who rudely call Democrats traitors and compare them to the murderer Osama bin Laden because many Democrats oppose the Iraq War and the actions of George W. Bush while in office?

I'm an old-school Republican. I don't like a lot of what the party is doing right now with illegal immigration and letting all the freeloaders in. I do, however, agree with everything Anna said, and if we didn't have a republican in the White House, we would have been attacked again. Remember that Bush had not been President for very long before we were attacked. That is because the Democratic administration before him completely gutted our CIA and other forms of national security. President Clinton took a lot of the funding for national security and instead put it into social programs. Don't believe me? Look it up! Also, Clinton was given the opportunity to catch Bin Laden and some of his cohorts several times but passed.

Edit: For Walter, three or four comments below mine: How is anyone supposed to listen to you when your writing and facts are so poor? You typed OUR instead of ARE, and, there aren't even three trillion people on earth. I couldn't even read through that whole comment because it made me want to scribble proofreader's marks all over my screen! Plus, you are way too emotional. People are not going to listen to you blow off a bunch of steam that makes no sense. Please, for the sake of all readers, organize your thoughts and use the spell check before you submit an answer! And, one more thing; how unpatriotic of you to say "dam[n] [you didn't spell damn correctly] this country to hell" if people don't agree with you. My friend, that is what this country is all about--we all have the freedom to think and say what we want, whether you agree with it or not!

I don't have anything personal against Republicans but I am a democrat. I came from a very conservative family with ties to the Republican party but I don't like the party it has become. This is no longer the party of Ike Eisenhower or even Ronald Regan and I'm ashamed and embarassed by what it has become.

I was a Democrat through 2000, but I've slowly moved towards Republican. I am a registered independent. I cannot be a Democrat right now for two reasons: 1) the Dems' economic and social positions reflect socialism/communism, not what liberalism used to be. For example, liberals used to stand for more freedom and less government (i.e the founding fathers), now they want more government and less freedom. 2) the Dems' today benefit from and exploit American failure.

While I certainly do not agree with Repubs on all issues, I'm no socialist/commie and I don't think America wins if we lose in Iraq, etc. Thus, I am forced to side more with the repubs.

I have voted both ways. I just want to know if the man not the party will have the countries best interest at heart.
Some people bash Clinton and some Bush. I was not a supporter for either.

I did like Regan and even Carter for very diffrent reasons.
I don't think we will agree with any of them 100% and no one is above mistakes, but I think we as Americans need to know that our president will put America and its freedom first.
Here is a video every one as Americans should see no matter what party you are with.

Niether and Both.

On Social issues like Abortion , gay marriage things like that Think there should be limits. No late term abortions and no forceing churches to marry gays but other than that I don't think they should be illegal.

On National Issues I support the War and the US military and think that we should get illegal immigration under control and have some stiff penalties for illegal immigrants.

I do think both parties have sold the American people out in one way or another, but I would never support the Dems in power ( Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Kuchinich, Clinton, Kennedy, Fienstein). I think some of the things they have done border on treason and they should be held accountable for it.
