I have always liked the name "Significant Other" It has a good ring to it. My child could go by the shortened version of Sig. Although it could be traumatic to always be the other child or the other student. However, he or she would always be Significant no matter how obscure their life might be.

I've always loved the name Michael. I have a cousin whom I grew up near by as a child and we remain close friends with even though he and his family live in California and my family and I live in Indiana. His name is Michael (we call him Mike) and I would enjoy naming a son after him. :o)
