I converted 115 yd cubed to ft cubed and got 1380 ft cubed.

Sorry, that's incorrect.

One yard is 3 feet, so 1 cubic yard = (3^3) = 27 cubic feet.
So 115 yd^3 = 115*27 = 3105 ft^3.

To get to cubic feet from cubic yards all you have to do is multiply cubic yards by 3 x 3 x 3 or 27.
So try it again: 115 x 27 and try to get 3105 cubic feet.

Dimensionally, 1 ydÂ³ = 3ft x 3ft x 3ft = 27ftÂ³
115ydÂ³ x 27ftÂ³/ydÂ³ = 3,015ftÂ³
