Kobe would not have any championships rings if weren't paired with the likes of:
1. Shaquille O'Neil - who's mere presence and prime assures rings.
2. Robert Horry
3. Glen Rice
4. Derek Fisher
5. Ron Harper
6. Devean George
7. Rick Fox
8. Brian Shaw
See. You jockers always completely forget the champion years where the great guys flourished in LA. You just can't accept the fact that Kobe can't lead the Lakers just as good as Shaq led it. I don't really get why you're upset. When everyone else even the former greats themselves say that Jordan is the best. It's not really Kobe who complicates things as admittedly he doesn't want to be compared to "His Airness" he wants to stand out by himself. It's you Kobe jockers who always associate Jordan to Kobe. We have no problem with Kobe as he is one of the best player of the world. But when you try to compare Kobe to Jordan's career achievements Kobe shrinks in comparisson to the best.
Hope this enlightens you.

I forgot that Horace Grant also played for the championship Laker squad! Jackson surrounded the squad with his championship players thus the championship.... Even Dennis Rodman suited up for the Lakers for a brief time...

MJ make his team a lil bit better because he knew when to pass it as in when the shot is hard for him. As for kobe, when it is hard he still forced the shot which mean BAD.
The best player that actually make his teammate better is SHAQ, if you look at miami when d wade got injured, it was only shaq that can lead the team. He draw the double team and just dish it out, his presence make everyone feels confidence. I believe without Shaq, penny, kobe, or dwayne wade might not be a star. As for SHAQ making everyone better, derek fisher was good when shaq in his team, penny good enough to go to final with shaq in his team, kobe was able to go to the final with shaq in his team, d wade go to the final with shaq in his team. So yeah, Shaq is a big presence on the floor. One more thing his latest achievement is on jason kapono, he makes him a good 3 point shooter. Coincidence? I think not. Watch as Kapono suffer in toronto.
I thought Horry has 11 rings?

Forget both. I will give you another name: Bill Russell. NOW we are talking.
Bill Russell is the greatest basketball player to have ever played the game. 11 rings, and he was the leader on those championship teams.
thats five more than Mr Jordan could manage to win, with Scottie Pippen, or shoud I say, Scottie Pippen was the Man on those Bulls championship teams.
championship is what matters the most. Just ask Stockton and Barkley.

Jordan: 5 MVP's, 6 rings
Horry: 0MVP's, 7 rings
Horry has no MVP's to substantiate his superiority over Jordan. And neither does Kobe at least for now.

aboslutley not....he wasnt much of a help other than clutch three point shooters...mj was a start who led his team to victory..he didnt watch them win. how many times did horry put up 30 points and 10 assists and 7 rebounds? exxxxactly.
horry is a winner, and a leader, but mj is--well--mj. they dont call him the best bball player of all time for no reason.

It's a point that people seem to ignore a lot. I don't know why. Just do lineup comparisons and you'll see. I don't like or dislike Kobe more than Jordan and vice versa, but the facts speak for themselves.
