yes!! my beliefs are benevolence, peace, love and i believe that there is one superpower, one god for all communities and religions. there are lot of people , who differ from my beliefs and certainly i m very tolerant of others beliefs, as long as their beliefs are not imparting any harm to the society and humanity. but i m very much intolerant to religious dogmas and fundemental beliefs, such as extremism or terrorism using the name of jehaad under the cover of naming it freedom fights or like treating the women as a slave in some islamic countries. any damage to humanity and life is unforgivable. i would love to push the extremists to all corners but i m a small part of system, and they are huge number. i wish , i could eradicate them , not prosecute them.

NO! I am not just tolerant, I am respectful of others in all aspects not just beliefs. As a member of the Military I worked side by side and under persons of every ethnic background and belief, gender and race included. I respected them and they respected me. The Military like every other organization had idiots who didn't and that made everyone look bad, but all in all Those I worked with were good people. I should also say I trusted them with my life, and I did. Every time I climbed into my plane my life was in the hands of all those who worked on it before I got on board.

I say that we MUST tolerate others beliefs, even if we believe they are wrong. So yes, I am tolerant of other others' beliefs, and will champion their right to state their beliefs, live the dictates of those beliefs, and live in freedom.

What else is the U.S. good for, if we cannot champion the beliefs of others?

Are we here to protect our precious little borders, and keep the evil illegals and terrorists out?

Then we are "A little people, a silly people," to quote Lawrence of Arabia.

I tolerate but do not accept people often get it confused, like Christianity and Homosexuality you cannot be a perpetual homosexual and a Christian that wont ever change, there fore homosexuals are tolerated but homosexuality is not accepted.
That doesn't mean Christians don't care for or hate Homosexuals. I am sorry for those who spread hate so easily, God loves everyone but he does not condone everything we do. You can love a person without being OK with things they have done.

I don't persecute them, but I reserve the right to respectfully disagree with them. I don't think tolerance means that we all have to think alike, although that's the impression I get from the gay rights activists, PETA, etc. They only seem to be tolerant of people who either agree with them or will keep silent about their own beliefs.

I think I am pretty tolerant of others beliefs. I dont have a problem with it as long as they arent trying to shove their opinions/beliefs/values down my throat. I am thankful for living in thsi country where we can each believe in what we wish.

However, I think I am human and sometimes I can be judgemental. However I do not take it to the next level and I accept them for who they are as long as they are not hurting me.

Just because I may not believe in someone else's beliefs does not necessarily mean that I persecute them. If they are doing something I think is immoral, I just do not associate with them. If it is religion, I have respect for everyone if they treat me likewise.

I actually think tolerant is the wrong word. When you tolerate something, you recognize that it is bad but you allow it to happen.

So no, I am not "tolerant" of other people's beliefs (assuming you mean religious beliefs). I am accepting of their beliefs and I do not judge them as right or wrong.

One of my greater strenghs is to be tolerant of others, especially their beliefs. It is an unalienable human right to believe as one wishes, whether it is in their God or a particular lifestyle, so long that it does not infringe on the rights of others.

Very tolerant. I loathe prejudice and bigotry. It's very difficult for me to be around others who speak poorly or treat poorly people of other races or beliefs or who are just different somehow. I do not ever want to think that way.

And it's really scary to be on the other end of it too. But seeing from both sides helps you to keep your eyes open because it's too easy to fall into being a hater.
