If you think it's worth a lot more than face value, check ebay or a couple local coin shops (they usually carry paper currency also) to see what similar bills are going for. Remember that condition means a lot to the value.

Serial number is irrelevant. What is important is the series and condition. If yours is not a silver certificate, it is worth a dollar.

Just for fun you could check www.wheresgeorge.com which is a currency tracking tool. The others are right, it is probably worth $1.00, but you might as well check where its been just for fun.

try calling the bank. they probably will tell you that its worth about $1
