It does somewhat. ^_^ Actually, it's a bit more of a surprise though....I look at the name and think, "Who could this be?" and wonder why on *earth* anyone likes *me*, Mr. Motor-Mouth here.
But hey, that could just be my moods talking too. I admit it's a bit of a self-esteem thing (my not having any). The idea that people like what I have to say enough to make me a contact or to be a fan just....well, it's like, "Wow....this person wants to be friendly, what did I *do* again? I sure don't see it...."
So. Yes, it does stroke my ego a little bit, but not without my wondering and second-guessing it a bit.
Sorry about that. ^_^ Thanks for your time though.

Yeah it does! It makes me feel like someone likes what I have said on other questions, or that they think I seem interesting and want to get to know me better. I always enjoy that. It is nice and makes me feel good. I also like it when other people send me an e-mail just kinda out of the blue. If they have a question or a response to a response that I gave to a question. I also really like it when people say hello and want to chat a little and get to know me and me them. So yes I think it is flattering when I see someone has added them self to my fan's list. =)

Not really because sometimes I feel that they did it by mistake or are just wanting to have a huge fan list. I say this because I've checked a few of their questions on their profile and they give a completely different answer than me.

more like surprise. A few months back I posted a question or answer.. I don't remember which... and all of a sudden I had 4 new fans. They are still my fans, but perhaps they never logged on again...

Nope. As I say, I'm a cantankerous old man and I really could care less. And, after reading my profile, people still become my fans. Neat, huh? I guess being an a55 has its appeal.

No. I just feel very flattered and special! I always wonder what made them choose me to be one of their contacts! I always smile when I see that in my inbox!
