According to my old Physics teacher, Mr. Smith, the size (not the intelligence) of an average woman's brain is smaller than that of an average man's.

Hmm, everyone that just answered seems to be a total and complete idiot. They completely missed the point, you have in no way stated that women are of lesser intelligence, but rather merely their brain is smaller.
It has to be since their bodies are usually smaller than male bodies, their head needs to be proportionate to the body. Again, in humans, the size of the brain in no way affects it's capacity or function. Men's brains are bigger because of slightly larger pituitary gland.

well women are usualy a smaller build the brain can only be as big as your head.. but that does not make them less smart. or any thing.. and to a extent that can be a true statement for a lot of women but not all women have a small build either..

if he's right, maybe because they're in the end smaller? (look at NBA v WNBA). Smaller skeletal structure, skull ...making it harder for the brain to grow.. Like a fish tank... In a large enough tank... a gold fish could grow to the size of a trout.

most likely because woman generally tend to be smaller than men on average. i bet our other organs are smaller too if this is correct.

It may be smaller, but atleast we use the whole brain, unlike men who only use a very very small part of theirs!

Women are just smaller in general. I doubt there's a reason.
