It's hard for me to admit, but I'm completely lost on the subject of bras. I have my few to get me through the week, and that's as deep as it gets.

Now, I'm looking for a bra to go under this dress:
http://www2.victoriassecret.com/commerce/application/prodDisplay/?namespace=productDisplay&origin=onlineProductDisplay.jsp&event=display&prnbr=3E-193557&page=1&cgname=OSCLODRSVIL&rfnbr=2667

I'd like it to provide cleavage but doesn't scream "push-up!" and not fall down or come loose or anything like that.

Any recommendations for an inexpensive bra that will do this job and advice on where I can buy one and about how much it will cost (I'm going for a somewhat inexpensive one here).
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it.

I too am not exactly the bra-pro, but one thing for sure, comfort is the name of the game! No use looking great but feeling terrible because you are not 100% comfortable.... and that erodes your self esteem anyway!

I would suggest either taking the dress of a top with the same neckline and straps with you to try and buy..... at least then the shop lady can help you as she will see what you need it for and you can even try the two on together!

I cant really see the shoulder straps so I'm not sure how wide they are - you dont want your bra straps visible underneath or poking through on the sides so I would say you would be best off with a convertible bra which will have the option of removing the straps..... but you need to ensure that it will still stay up by itself or else the whole thing is pointless!

There is also the choice of those little 'sticky' cups which basically just adhere to your breasts, so it is not a bra as such! I have no experience with them though and would not imagine they are suitable for a larger bust...

Trial and error...... but do this all before the big night, with lots of time to perfect your outfit!

(Talk to the sales-ladies in bra/underwear shops and get their opinions - that doesnt cost a cent!)

for a dress like that look for a LIGHT push up and strapless.

I agree too much clevage ruins a dress and looks trashy

You can find them anywhere, Wal-mart, Target ect..

Make sure it has great non slip strips.

Here is a little tip when trying on a bra move around and just up and down, and touch your toes. If the "girls" are still in and it feels good it works. (this also work for dresses ans swimsuits)

Remeber to feel confortable in it. You don't want to be tugging at yourself all nite.:)

Here is an example. Bring the dress with you when you go bra shopping and if possible bring a friend along for a good opinion. The dress is HOT!!! Did you get the shoes too??

Go online, and check out the Ipex and the Secret Embrace strapless bras - they both have discounts attached right now!
Go with a nude [ skin ] color - you will definitely need it again.
