The Titans deserved to be imprisoned. Cause they are against to the Olympian Gods and Goddesses. Especially Cronus, because of his hunger for power, he heartless eaten his children except Zeus. How can a Father do that to his children ...

Imagine also how Titans dismembered Baby Dionysus so that they will have the throne of Zeus....

Titans are so heartless and cruel even to their fellow deities.

Zeus had to imprison the titans because humans couldnt be created untill then. If he would have just banished them to Earth Titans and humans would be equal and that would mean that humans would be just as great as the gods themselfs.
Second he didnt imprison all of them right away Prometheus took sides with the gods and got to help create life on earth it wasnt untill after he took fire from mount olympus and gave it to humans so they could survive that he was chained to a rock where a eagle ate his liver out every day and every night it rejuvinated this process only being broken after he was freed by Hercules.

Well, Cronos did eat his children, and also almost ate Zeus if it wouldn't have been for Rhea. Yeah, I would say that the Titans deserved it.
