No, to me ignorance would not be bliss. I would hate not knowing what is going on around me. I am a news junkie and always interested in new things and also interested in how things work and how they happened and how they are happening now. :o)

No ignorance isn't bliss.Blissful is when you have all your thoughts and maybe ignoring. Just ignoring your surroundings may in fact give you a blissful feeling but you have to face the fact sooner or later that being ignorant at the time will come back to haunt you. That blissful feeling that was there , that ignoring you did will come back and you are left there wondering why did I ignore when I should of been doing something about this sooner.

This is so funny.
The other day, I saw this card
in the Hallmark shop,
it was one of those sarcastic ones.
The card was very pretty with roses
&
a ribbon on the front
and in really nice Calligraphy,
it was scrolled:
"If Ignorance is Bliss...
( then you open up the card...& it says):
Then you must be the happiest person in the world!!!
Happy Birthday, anyway"
I laughed so hard, I thought I was going to need to find the rest room.

yes and no, yes because being ignorant makes you learn about many things also it regulates ones responsibilities knowing that you doesnt know about a stuff alts you to do it. however, igorance is diff. from innocence it is more likely better to be innocent than to be ignorant.

In some cases, yeah. It is better not to be aware of some of the things around you if they would just make you paranoid or sad or angry.

no...ignorance can definately work in you favor in many situations. for example, when a cop asks u a question, you'd be doing your friend a favor by saying you have no idea...cuz, they'll be trying to get you to say something that incriminates your friend.
