From Bluejays fan: we'll be back next year!!! We'll be Back!!!! Doc is better than Beckett or Wang!!! What a disappointment this season was, but not really...we have the great pitching now, and we'll be back next year!!!!!!

oh, dont gimme the crap about hughes, kennedy....joba, yeah...he'll be good. And bucholz, yeah he'll be good, w/e lester.
And halladay and an appendix surgery and missed a month. He also got the lowest run support this year and so many blown games with big leads. He still should have had 19-20 wins if he had run support.

It sucks to already be looking forward to next year doesn't it? Somehow, I doubt that Yankee and Red Sox fans will be shaking in fear this postseason and offseason thinking about the Toronto Blue Jays. Thanks for the message and warning though, I'll be sure to keep up to date on all the Blue Jays' moves this offseason--right after I buy Microsoft.

Yes, Toronto does have some good young arms, but in case you hadn't noticed, so do the Yankees (Hughes, Chamberlain, Kennedy) and the Red Sox (Bucholz, Lester). Also the Blue Jay lineup can't even begin to compare to the Yankees, and the Red Sox is well above average.

So you think Halladay is better than Wang or Beckett, big deal. Where is he now? Who is leading the league in wins? Beckett. Who won his 19th tonight? Wang. Who has won 38 games the past two seasons, most in baseball? Wang. I don't see Halladay in there, do you? What is he doing now? Getting ready to wrap it up and hit the links. Sucks to be him, considering how he's better than Wang or Beckettt, or so you say.

OH, what a big man you are!! You like to talk smack to Yankee and Red Sox fans, but can't take it yourself can you??!!! If you are going to talk crap and bait fans, then you better prepared to get it back, or else shut your pie hole. Real big man there. And "blah, blah, blah" yourself. "Halladay was hurt" "He had no run support" "He should have won twenty games". Well he didn't did he? And FYI, if you knew what you were talking about, you'd look in your little stats and see that both Beckett and Wang spent time on the disabled list this season.

Hey Einstein, get this. Hallday won his 16th tonight--in his 31st start. Beckett has 20 wins in 30 starts and Wang has 19 wins in 30 starts. So that Halladay being injured crap doesn't mean a thing now does it?

Listen, the Blue Jays are a great team,Your guys got bitten with the injury bug later in the season, where the Yanks had there's in the begining of the season,,But Hell Your team still gave the yanks And Red Sox a run for their money this yr! Belive me i'm NOT laughing at your statement!! But don't talk Smack about My Yankees,Joe Torre used 20 pitchers in an 8 week time frame,,And My team fought and clawed their way back to the top! your team could have done better in the run support Dept!!

You may be right. One of the best players overall in Vernon Wells (although he had an off year), a guy with a bright future in Alex Rios, and a rotation that includes Roy Halladay and A.J. Burnett. Dustin McGowan has looked pretty good lately too, except for that last start against the Yankees. Toronto could make some noise next year, but I'll say, Let's go Red Sox! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!

I'm a Yankee fan, of course happy tonight---but you Bluejays fans have NOTHING to be upset about----your guys did pretty well and BEAT the Yankees a few times as I remember--including a few times this past WEEK.. it's good to see a person who stays a fan of his or her team in spite of them not making it to the "big party"..... but NEVER let someone tell you the Jays are not a good team... They play their hearts out....

yeah because the blue jays are so much better then the sox and the yanks. varitek and posada are nothing compared to greg zaun. john mcdonald is a great defender but he bats like crap. it will be a while before they break into second place at best

Better get some hitting to go with that pitching in the meantime. Besides that, Doc pitches every 5th day whether he may or may not be better in irrevelant. Live in the now and the now is their usual 3rd place finish and 13 games out.

It's the same thing every season...the Blue Jays will be good NEXT YEAR. What unfortunate injury will be their excuse next season?

Red Sox - 2004

Yankees - 2000

Blue Jays - Oh that's right, 1993.

What do you think your chances are?

You're right "fahd_dogg", 86 years...what was I thinking? lmao
