Intel(R) Celeron(R) Processor 530 (1.73 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB)

and

Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T5250 (1.5 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB)

In terms of someone who doesn't understand computer, how will the first one limit my laptop in contrast to the second one?

Sorry, the first one is incorrect, i don'0t want the celeron. The two processors i want to compare are

Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T5250 (1.5 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB)

and

Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T7250 (2.00 GHz, 2 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)

if u can afford it get the faster one but in reality in a laptop it usually wont make a noticeable difference unless u do heavy processing tasks like converting entire movies to another format where it takes an hour ... then the faster processor will be worth it ... most of ur felt speed in any machine is the harddrive speed and laptops usually have sluggish harddrives ... so put money into that ... a 7200rpm one instead of a 4600rpm one will make a huge difference in how fast the machine feels ..

The Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T7250 (2.00 GHz, 2 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB) is a higher rate processor. Granted, there's not really not much noticeable difference, but if you really wanna go top end, go for this one.

The Core 2 T7250 is about 25% faster than the Core 2 T5250.

CPU Type Passmark CPU Mark
Core 2 T5250 @ 1.50GHz
Core 2 T5200 @ 1.60GHz Passmark= 872
Core 2 T7200 @ 2.00GHz Passmark =1076
Core 2 T7250 @ 2.00GHz

1076/872=1.23
+ 1.60MHz CPU is faster than 1.50 MHz CPU

A better front side bus and 500 mhz per core means alot to me.
They are both good laptop specs but if one wants to play games or render animation the second wins hands down. But what is the price difference and on what motherboard are they on?
If the difference was 100 dollars i would take the higher any day of the week.
