I'm going to have an interview soon that will require an excel test. I'm a little rusty on my excel and was wondering if there are any good excel accounting tutorials out there?

When I first started using computers and wanted to learn Excel, I went to a bookstore and browsed the computer section. There I found a book that explained all of MS's business software. Unfortunately, due to having to relocate across the country, I donated the book the the local library and I don't remember the title. It was something like "Microsoft Business Software."

If you want to brush up on Excel there are a few books I'd recommend.

If they are using Excel 2007, I definitely recommend getting the Plain & Simple series book for Excel 2007 by Microsoft Publishing. It is laid out very well with color graphics and great illustrations. I wish they had a version of it for Excel 2003, but I don't think they do.

For Microsoft Excel 2003, I'd recommend getting the Step by Step book series.

If you're a beginner and don't like the Step by Step series you might try Excel 2003 for Dummies.
