How did you feel the last time someone ripped your heart out?
I'm looking for the most colorful description.

It felt exactly like that. Like he tore through my skin, thrust into my breaking ribs and ripped my heart out like a light from its socket. He might as well have stomped on it and flattened it with a steam roller while he was at it. When he finished and left me, I took my heart and feebly put it back, closing my ribs and sewing my skin together with imperfect stitches. The pain will subside, and the injuries will heal, but my heart will never beat again.

The last time was when my ex cheated on me. It was about 3 years ago but I still remember how it felt. I felt worthless and unloved. I was wondering why he would do this to me if he said he loved me. I wondered what those women had that I did not have. I wondered why, if he wanted to be with other women, did he not just break up with me and spare me the heartache I felt when I found out. I really felt like my heart was laying in a million little pieces at the bottom of my stomach. I completely understood the term "heartbroken".

I was devastated, I didn't want to see anybody else or talk about anything as I was so engulfed by my pain nothing else mattered. The thought ran through me that I must have done them an unrightable wrong, that's the only way that this could have happened to make them do this. I wracked my brain , what had I done , how do i fix this. How do I start living if they are gone from my life?

I felt like a large, ferocious lion ripped out my heart whilst a gang of vultures picked at its remains. It was like having salt and orange juice poured into my everlasting wounds of knowing I will never be with someone like her again.

I was totally devastated ..... unable to move, to smile, unable
to think, unable to blink, I was crushed so damn hard, I was
crushed so damn fast, I simply wanted to die & make it real fast. I was unable to breath, I was unable to laugh, I though of
so many things right out of my past.
I felt so very much pain, I was losing my grip, I finally gave in
and believed I would make it, it was time to turn my life around
time to end this sad story, so on ward & up ward from this day forward.

i felt like he took a knife, stabbed me in the heart, pulled it out of my bloody corpse and carved a hole into it. After that, he put it back... sewn me up and brought me back to life... stuck with this damaged heart inside my cold bleeting body

gladley to say no hearts ripped but freinds have backstabbed and the feeling really crushed me i felt like nothin to any one :(
