Hey man, I feel your pain. So here's my story; kinda long but I'm hoping it will show that you're not the only one left out. I went to practically every music store within 15 miles of me and nobody had it. Let's get something straight, both were released on 9/25 Tuesday, right? Well, I went to 5 different Best Buys and none of them had either the blue album or the red album in the "New Released Today" section of the music area. It's like neither of them even came out on 9/25. I was so confused because I know it came out, as Amazon had it available to buy (the blue album that is; the red one was listed but not available through them or personal sellers). I checked both online and in-store everywhere (Target, Barnes & Noble) and no one had the red album in stock. Most of them listed it as existing, but backordered. My girlfriend's girlfriend works at Hot Topic and she told her that they had physical copies of the red album (Deluxe) in the store. So, in a panic I was going to drive there to get it, but before that I went to Best Buy.com one last time to check their in store pick-up availability in my area. Within a few hours, they went from saying 4 out of 5 stores had the blue album, to only 1 out of 5. Keep in mind I had already visted four of them physically and they had neither album. So, I raced over to the last Best Buy as it was closer than Hot Topic, and went to the new CDs release on 9/25, only to once again find they had nothing! I decided to ask one of the employees, which I never do 'cause they don't give a shite or know what you're looking for. Anyway, I asked this guy who was standing in an aisle of the music area and I asked for the Dethalbum, and it just so happens he was standing right in front of it. And what did I see? One lonely copy of the Deluxe version hiding in some random area with a "Dethklok" tab as the artist. Okay, I know that was a lot to read, but here's the point. The guy told me apparently it's not even supposed to be there, and that the stores are removing it from the new area and putting it in the regular area, and possibly removing from the stores altogether. I then heard from someone online that the red album is being recalled. I don't know if it's true, but it would explain why a lot of us can't find it. My question though is, why was the regular blue version not sitting in the New CD section on Tuesday? Why did they file it in the regular artist section with all other CDs that are past their "New Tuesday" release week? So, yes, I got a copy of the Deluxe version and I'm extremely happy. But don't feel too bad because I think it might be getting recalled so they should release it again soon. I listened to both CDs twice since Tuesday and they seem fine to me. I haven't checked the enhanced part in my computer yet, but I don't notice anything wrong with it.
Good luck, be patient (yeah right! lol), and don't worry you'll get it. My advice is to immediately check Hot Topic in-store if you have one, or any other in-store shops, and check the regular area for music, *not* the new area, at least at Best Buy because all my Best Buys seem to be keeping it out of the newly release Tuesday section on purpose; why I don't know for sure.
By the way, the album is awesome. The second CD could have been a little longer, with a few more songs from the show that didn't make it in, at least I think there's a few that didn't make it. How about that funny one with Pickles and the little girl. I liked that one! "I'm Pickles the drummer and I get to sing...." Yeah it wasn't metal and didn't fit the album's style, but most of the2nd CD songs are comedy songs anyway, like Duncan Hills Coffe Jingle and Dethklok Gets in Tune.
Dethklok rules! Kill me!
