I need to transcribe japanese text from a book, but this takes too much time. I want to scan the pages and use an OCR (Optical character recognition) that suports japanse. But did´n find any, or are too expensive. Help me please.

OCR for Japanese text does exist, the problem is with machine translation software. For some languages, like romance languages (Spanish, French, Italian), it's kinda ok, but for Asian languages like Japanese, it blows HARD. The "correct" process is 1. Scan images to computer 2. Pass to competent (human) translator 3. Remove Japanese text with image editing software, input English 4. ??? 5. Profit.
