it's like asking for an A when you know you're supposed to get an F for not completing that project...
ok. not a good example.
some people want their questions to get noticed, or maybe it boosts up their points.
Yahoo was clever at adding these options, in my opinions. I think the reason why people are more interested in this is because of the stars, thumbs, and especially points/levels...cuz i know i am.

I am pretty easy about giving stars, I actually run out of them quite a few times!!
