No seasons anywhere.
The poles would be permanently frozen and in twilight all year.
The equator would be uninhabitable due to the heat.
The oceans at the equator would be close to boiling, which means fish and animal life in the oceans would live only in the northern and southern oceans.
The intense heat at the equator would effectively prevent animal or bird migration, or human travel (at least during the day) between the hemispheres.
Weather patterns would be completely different, with winds generally moving towards the equator (due to the rising heated air).
This could cause more tornadoes and hurricanes than currently.
The plants and animals of the northern hemisphere would have evolved differently from the ones in the southern hemisphere.

If the earth's axis is not tilted and is perpendicular to the plane of orbit around the sun, then
(1) the day time and night time will be equal in all places except probably over poles, where there will not be night time at all as the sun will be shining throughtout the year over the horizon.
(2)Equator will be receiving more solar radiation and the poles will be receiving minnmum solar radiation throughout the year.
(3) seasons will not be produced.

Why, the sun would obviously always be shining on equator at the right angle ( 90* ) and that in turn would mean a constant temperate climate for those parts of the Earth, which are near 45* of altitude towards both poles and in the north and south, it would be a constant winter...I suppose weather would also be more constant ( it would probably not vary as much as it varies )...But after all these are only my speculations in reality it might not be possible at all for life to develop on such a planet, or at least life would be limited on certain regions of the Earth...

There would be no seasons. Part of the reason that there are seasons everywhere but the equator is because the world is tilted. As it goes around the sun sometimes it is tilted closer and sometimes farther away from the sun, thus creating seasons.

Nothing so extreme. What we know of as seasons would become purely a function of latitude as opposed to time of year. Wind patterns would change quite a bit, with north-south winds becoming much more predominant over the east-west patterns we see now, and average wind speed near the equator could well see a significant rise to balance more consistent heat and resultant low pressure.

Al Gore would blame SUV drivers and the Bush administration.
I'm sorry...I got off on a tangent there.
Your answer is a much smaller portion of the planet would be inhabitable, if at all.

there would be no seasons.the ocurrence of winter or summer solstice (longer days/longer nights) will not happen.the climate on earth will be totally different, it will be much colder in the northern and southern hemisphere while it will be too hot or humid in the tropics / equator area.
