Because once they win, they can pay people to say what they want, they can buy their own way out of screwing something up, and they can pretend that they care about/relate to the middle and lower class citizens!! Oh, and don't forget, they can buy their way through school and get accepted to amazing colleges. DUH!

Vote for the candidate who is really qualified whether poor or rich. Many vote for rich people because they presume that they will no longer be corrupt but on the contrary the rich even become richer while already elected.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

Why not?
Why are you looking at that as a reason. This kind of stuff scares me. I mean is this what you are sitting up at night worrying about? Who the rich candidate is and who's not?

Cause poor ones can't afford to run. So you can't vote for them. I like Mike Huckabee, but I probably won't get to vote for him because he probably doesn't have enough money to make it to the end of the race. Especially not compared to Clinton or Guiliani. He can't afford advertising to get his name out there and make himself known to the extent that they can.
