Although the gardening months are my favorite, I'm looking forward to the winter because I'm going to decorate my 3 year old's bedroom in a rain forest theme and I have so many cool ideas. During the summer I get to create with my garden beds, but in the winter in get to create in my house.
Besides, it's not like winter lasts forever; I begin gardening in February by starting pallets of seed in anticipation of spring.

I am definetly ready this year and I have never said that in my life. I have always loved spring and summer! But this year the temp have been over 90 for 71 days in a row here in NC and we are in a terrible drought. My A/C hasn't been able to work hard enought to keep it cool and it has been miserable. Not to mention flies by the millions and mosquitoes by the billions>go figure< I don't know where they are breeding when we have no rain or water. I can't wait for the first frost here.... no more allergies, no more insects, and relief from this unbearable heat

I've been ready for winter since it ended! Even though it doesn't really get cold in Florida, high 50's low 60's are fine for me!

I was just walking around my garden today and looking at all the work I have to do. Yikes!! I have a lot of things left to do... take in the yard ornaments, take in the houseplants, cut down the old growth... lots and lots on the list to do.
