If the sun were made of corn flakes aliens would have eaten it
with the milky way. If the moon were made of cheese Tesco
would be mining it and selling it in their supermarkets!
The sun is boring old hydrogen and the moon an airless lump of rock but as hydrogen is the basis of all elements I suppose
cornflakes and cheese are both possible.

No we been there, brought part of it back, so we know what the moon is made of. Obviously we know the sun cannot be made our of cornflakes, because it is an active Nuclear reactor. :)
