What should their daily salad consist of?

What would be the best bedding? Right now I'm using paper towel

Are they best kept alone, or with another?

Thank you!!! :)

Just got him/her yesterday(feel bad I left the other one all alone but they were $75 and I would only get the other if it would be for the best) he/she is about 3 in.

I don't use loose substrate in any of my lizard cages--too high an impaction risk. Paper towels are fine for now, but I prefer non-adhesive shelf liner (comes in rolls in kitchen dept. of any store--no glue on the back). It looks nice and is easy to clean. Ceramic tile or reptile carpets works too.

Diet: Collard, kale, mustard, turnip greens, green beans, peas, frozen mixed vegies (corn, lima, carrot, green bean, peas) thawed, sweet potatoes, dandelion greens, alfalfa pellets, split pea, lentils navy beans (softened and/or sprouted), pelleted iguana chow, Pretty bird finch pellets. Mix a variety each day, sprinkle with a little calcium w/D3 powder a few times a week, a multi-vitamin once a week. Mist salad with water to moisten--they get most of their water intake through the food they eat.

Variety is the key to their diet. Mixed dark leafy greens (no iceberg lettuce or spinach), and veggies should be a main staple. They also like dandelions from your yard, as long as they have not been treated with any pesticides.

Best bedding is either a soil/sand mixture or bird seed that doesn't contain sunflower seeds. The bird seed is safe for them to eat and I personally prefer the seed over anything that contains sand.

They do better alone. Even those that are bred are kept alone except when breeding. Keeping 2 together will stress them out.

i believe a non particle substance, nothing "loose", but in a corner or side of the aquarium a small sand box for digging, washed play sand, not calci sand or pet store sand...the reason being, risks of impaction if you feed him in sand, and santitary issues, i think it's much easier to wipe down than to sift and change...except for the small sand box, but that is removable and easy to clean....
