What sort of experiment can I do to prove that the moon rotates the same way as the earth?

I need an experiment that shows that the moon orbits the earth in the same direction that the earth revolves, even though it appears to go the opposite way in the night sky.

download google earth. it shows you from where you are to whats up out there.
