There are many places you can go to get a test. Not sure why you choose the hospital.

Health Department
Planned Parenthood
School Nurse
Buy one
and more not sure what state your in

NO!!! They can not tell any one. You have rights to see a Dr. and keep it private!

If you are pregnant its best to tell the father and parents on both side.

DHS for sooner care
WIC for milk, cheese, juice, and more

Call a Dr as soon as you can. SO you can get in and make sure every thing is going good. Most Dr's. now give you an early ultra sound to check if there are twins and how far along you are. Lots of fun.

Time to start planning, and get a good support team. It will be hard at 16 but you can do it! If you unable to stay in school get your GED ASAP...and then after baby take a 1-2 classes at college.

There is tons of help out there for you.

start your vitamins the day you find out
no caffeine
eat health
lots of water
no drinking or drugs
some say fish is bad
no cleaning out cat litter boxes
get alot of sleep
no medication till you see a Dr.

good luck

There should be a local prenatal clinic in or around your town. They do not care about age. Same with Planned Parenthood. You could also take a pregnancy test at home. They are the same ones they give you at a doctor's office. My preference is the ones that are digital and say Pregnant or Not Pregnant. I'm not a fan of lines and plus signs.

Go the Planned Parenthood clinic in your area. They can give you a free pg test and counseling if you want it. I am sure you are scared and having another adult help mediate the situation could lessen the scare for you, especially if you are pregnant and scared to tell your parents. I hope that you are NOT pregnant. I hope you use protection the next time you have sex, and I hope you live a happy successful life that includes children when you are emotionally and financially ready.

I was 16 when i found out i was pregnant, and i went to the local clinic by myself, they just asked me if my mom knew i was pregnant, and she did, but if she didnt know, and i didnt want them to tell her, they couldnt tell her. So i'd say yes, you can go without a parent.

unless it is a medical emergency and you are dying you cant do much if you are under 18 and by yourself. You CAN go to a planned parenthood though, they do pregnancy tests for free. =] or you could buy one for $1 at the dollar tree or cheap like $7 at regular stores. Good luck and god bless!

Go to a clinic or WIC, or something. They'll usually do a free urine test, and you can find out the results there in the office. After that, they can help you with making up a decision about what to do, and how talk to your parents about it.

Go to Planned Parenthood. It will be alot easier. And if you're really worried about going there, just get a regular pregnancy test from the store. That's really all they're going to give you at PP

You don't have to go to the hospital, it would be best for you to just go to your Dr. I don't know where you live, but here in Cali, you can go to the Dr. for stuff like that and it is completely confidential. Good luck

Why don't you just go to your local doctor or even to planned parenthood or if you have one to your OB. Any place is free. But yes they will let you go by yourself to take a test.
