It's different in the many different subjects, but being a highschooler...I would say maybe 15%. Especially in Math, I know it's to train us, and all that but when are we ever really gonna have to know the radius of a triangle? Now the History classes and Bussiness and those kinda classes, proabley more like 90%. But the rest about 15%.

Probably 10% of what's taught in school is important, everybody complains that math is never useful and why do we need english, etc. Math, and english helps us develop a way of thinking that's outside the box. English also helps you learn a more advanced way of reading. Science is useful in any activity you do, and History is good just so tommorow's people don't make the same mistakes us and our grandparents made. So, each subject in school may not be important but it sets a foundation of what's to come in college.

like 50 - 60 % it depends... I want to be a journalist so english, history, spanish, filmmaking and religion are all things that I would have to use at some point. Geometry, ceramics and physics aren't really anything I'll ever have (or want) to use. I also go to a private college prep school, so the curriculum is a little bit tougher than a public school.

All of it if you consider common sense important everyday, more you know no matter how trivial builds common sense in the long run which makes everyday life so much easier.
I notice alot of people now days struggle with the simplest of things, that's because they thought 0% of it was important.
Percentage between 95 and 100

5% max. School doesn't teach you how to be reach or good at your job. All it does is prepare you for the long days, and the work you don't want to be doing that you will eventually be doing. Robert Kiyosaki is Hawaii's richest man, and he has his own schools for kids and other people wanting to join, that teaches anyone from any age how to be succesful when they grow up. I'm so against school. : )
