A friend of mine met a girl that night that he was presumably going home with. While her and I were outside he was asking me questions about him, like in a good way. When a dude I knew caught wind of this he scoffed and said "I'd be offended if I were you". I was like "Why" and he said that my friend likely figured he could trust me to stay with her because she won't run off with me........

Does this check out? I asked him about that and he was a little pissed.

BTW, my friend is an alpha male frat boy type and im the outgoing, social regular guy who knows the frat boys.

Go with how you feel about what is going on. It isn't his place to tell you what is happening here.

It do not sound like trust to me cause what reason would he get angry. So if you are the outgoing type then it is obviously that you can figure this one out and it seems you already have.

Or, he might just think you're a trustworthy guy. Don't let some a**hole tell you about your relationship with your friend. If your buddy thinks that little of you, it will soon be apparent in other ways. Trust your own instincts.
