what is 2(1.5n+4)-6n= -7?

i got the answer n=.25 but im not sure if im wrong please show me how you got the answer

Ans. Given 2(1.5n+4)=-7
3n +8=-7
3n=-15
n=-15/3=5
n=-5

3n + 8 - 6n = - 7
- 3n = - 15
3n = 15
n = 5
