It depends on what kind of player are you. If you are a fast athletic type of player, you can just pump fake and have a quick step to get an advantage over the defending player. But if you are a Big Man with a huge body type then you can make this hop or "pro-hop" as they call it in the NBA to get an avantage. Sometimes Big men uses their great strength and post up to get around the basket.

Not really. It's more about how quick you can get the shot off. How high you jump matters a little more the closer you get to the basket.

properly im thirteen too and im rather sturdy at capturing too, and that i play for the college team. i used to have rather undesirable form yet when I went to college they have been rather hard on me to alter my form and that i ultimately i grew to alter right into a good better shooter! so which you would be able to shop your form for now yet i might prepare recuperating on that for the reason which you are able to exchange into even better and perchance play college ball. yet attempt to coach throughout the time of the summer season or some thing so which you would be waiting for next season! and robust success! :)

not really cause u can pump-fake them or do the fade away but it is good to have hops
