My partner and I have taken 2 weeks off work in November and plan to drive around and see NSW. We would love some itinerary suggestions of where to stop and what activities there are to do along the way.

The trip out to Lake Mungo is really fantastic. You have to drive to Wentworth and it is about 100km of reasonable quality dirt road. You can either camp of stay in a lodge. The Walls of China are spectacular and a must see. Not too far away is Willandra Lakes and they are also worth a visit.

Depends on where you start from. Some suggestions -
Kangaroo Valley (south of Sydney)
Katoomba and the Blue Mt's. (west of Sydney)
Hunter valley (north of Sydney)
Northern beaches
Central Coast
To name just a few. Contact the NSW tourist bureau for more.

The south coast of N.S.W. is glorious from Batemans Bay south. We had time at Narooma and it was fantastic. So many little beaches and interesting small towns not too far inland. Can't understand why tourist bureau doesn't promote it more but then it would be spoiled if too many developers moved in. Have seen this happen before.

South of Sydney is great - from Wollongong to Eden with great coffee stops, restaurants, accommodations, fetes, festivals - you name it along the way - not to mention the beautiful beaches!!

Look up Shoalhaven and Eurobedalla on Internet
