My family is very close. We know each other well and still like each other!
We like to get together in the summer: 4 generations of us.

I bet your family and my family would get along great.
I love my family, and I hold them very close to my heart. It's how I was raised... it's who I am now. My family is the reason I raise my child (soon to be children) the way I do. I am thankful to have a wife whose family is is close as I am to mine. I definitely feel the love and I am thankful everyday for being blessed with the family I have. I miss them tremendously and can't wait until next summer so I can see MY family :)

I was just thinking about asking this very same question! I am VERY tight with my family. It took a long time to get close but now that we are, I don't know what I will do if anything ever happens to any of them! Our family vacation was GREAT this year. It was so nice spending that time together that we're going to try to make it a yearly thing.

Close would be an understatement. We all talk to each other regularly. Thanksgiving is a major event. All of us have kids except on sister and there are 5 of us. In fact, as I sit here typing this one of my sisters surprised me and is here for the week (she's watching Top Chef) My other sister called tonight and talked to both of us as did my mother and my oldest daughter who I talk to 2-3 times a night. I have 2 brothers also that I talk to not as much as my sister but my baby brother I talk to at least once a week.
I could go on and on but family is special to me.

It is very sad to say that we are not. I wish we were. You certainly have something very special. My mom and 2 sisters live 5 states away. I go to visit them every couple of years but they have never come to see me in the 30 years that I have been gone. My husband's family have all passed away. My kids don't even call and when I call them, they are too busy. I don't even get Mother's Day cards! I figured their inheritance is going to the cats. lol

Lol, my family is something you don't want to get into.
My family is a very patriotic family. i mean i got a german national flag for my 3rd birthday. on my 18th birthday i got referred to a recruiter.
If anything, we are close in the way we love our fatherland.
But sometimes i bealeve that They might choose germany over me. that can lead to some problems. but we are proud of our heritage. and every Male member of our family to date has joined the German Army in some form or another.
we have still 'family policies' if you could call them on Who we marry.(such as carrying the family Name on. And women staying in the kitchen type stuff etc. normaly amongst the elders in the family.) we are very traditional. and we love our country.

Ohhh if my family is anything like your's then we should all get together..I've got a carzy brother with a crazy addiction to chicken he's got a crazy wife and a crazy son..My mom is crazy, my sisters are crazy, even my grandpa is crazy....we too get together every summer and we all like each other.....Hey as a matter of fact, I think I love you!!!

Not even close it would take a lifetime of Dr. Phil to get my family even close to normal but that is okay because my husbands family is close and they love me and our son as their own.

Not really because I have alot of gossipers in my family so there is always alot of he say, she say stuff going on and also the drama never stops so i try to stay away...

Not as close as i wish. They all are still in Georgia and im in Kentucky so i miss them =(. But i get to see them next week! YAY!
