why do we stand in line to eat sugar coated carbohydrate soaked, grease fried potatoes. greasy "meat?" burgers with gobs of mayonnaise, and chemically raised and hemroid injected chickens?

I work in a small town. I have one hour lunch break. The only choices I have that I can make it to and back (without the time to get the food) are Burger King, McDonalds, Subway, and Hardees, Sonic. I was very shocked about the way it all ended up though. I do not have anytime to cook at home and the nearest grocery store has no deli or precooked meals I can take to work.

Burger King's food is consistantly over-greasy, disgusting from the start.

Subway is consistantly SLOW and I am late anytime I tempt to venture inside but I like a good sub.

Sonic is far away (down the highway) but is a change. I would rate them slightly better than Burger King.

Hardees is far away in the other direction down the highway. They are absolutely discusting.

McDonalds is actually the only reasonable place that I can GO and eat anywhere around my job. I actually look forward to showing up. I guess this is because when looking at the competition they face. They are CLEAN, FAST, FRIENDLY, and FOOD tastes 100X better than anyone else. I don't ever order the fries so I don't think about them. I always order a grilled club sandwich. I have never had one that has disgusted me in any way. Hmmm, I don't know if I mind the chickens being injected. But I guess that's becuase I dont have any extra body parts growing yet.

Because:

It's cheap
It's fast
It taste pretty good

Truth be told, a lot of people are lazy or in a hurry so going to a drive thru is the easies. Plus we live in a world where the most greasiest and fattening foods taste the best.

That's not how they advertise it. They show it looking edible to eat. And make you hungry watching the TV commercial.

I quit going their. MCDONALD'S. Figured out it was the salt my body was craving. To high of blood pressure.

I first got lost on the french fries, started puking on them. YUCK! Had to quit. The rest followed in disgust.

Saw their product info line, calories, sodium, fat calories. and so on.

Really dissapointed I got suckered in.

Sometimes I might just show up for the toy collection in the kids meals. At least they finally have a few substitutions. Apple, Milk etc. in the kids meals.

I got sick of McDonald's years ago. Even my grandchildren that used to beg for a Happy Meal now prefer Subway.

because they are put everywhere so we always smell it. then we start to crave it.

we also go because we can get 2 burgers fries and a coffee for under $6

Because people's parents used to buy it for them when they were children, and they're too lazy to realize that just about EVERY restaurant out there is better in almost every way.
