She is three months old, and is a little over fourteen inches long. I've tried to look up pictures of snakes that are similar to her, but all I can find are sites with snake slang that I'm not familiar with. If anybody else here is a reptile enthusiast, I would appreciate the input.

I think what you were trying to ask what the pattern is, not what makes a jungle corn, am I right? (that's what I got out of it anyway!)Whatcha got there is a regular patterned albino jungle corn which I'm sure you know is a cross between the afformentioned breeds. There are tons of other color varieties if you're interested. Check out www.cornsnakes.com

Yup, you don't have a 'corn snake' you have a cross between a king and a corn. jungle corn is the name for this hybrid, so if it is an albino, then you got it right the first time its an albino jungle corn snake. the thing is with all these different morphs of corns is that different people call them different things, there is a big diff between the us and the uk in a lot of the names. to be honest, i think they are mostly made up and which ever sticks is the widest accepted name. so, make up a name, if it is something people haven 't heard before you might be able to sell offspring for silly amounts of money, as a lot of morph breeders do! give me a non hybrid, naturally occuring colour patten any day! phew, rant over! sorry!

She is so beautiful! I'm really envious because we're not allowed to have corn snakes in Australia. They have the most amazing colours don't they?

The link below is to a great website which gives descriptions of all the different colour variations. They use technical terms (eg amelanistic, hypomelanistic etc) but they do explain what they mean.

Good luck with your new baby.

Edit:
Just had a look through the website and I would guess yours is an Opal (Amelanistic Lavender) corn snake. It's hard to tell when they are still juveniles though, their colour changes a lot as they mature.

A jungle corn is a hybrid snake. It is a cross between a cornsnake and a California kingsnake.
