Thought is energy. According to the laws of Physics energy cannot be destroyed, and it cannot just disappear. Where does it go?

well what happens to me when I die is I get to go be with my Lord Jesus Christ, and get to see God who because of Jesus is my Father in Heaven, but as for you: you have a choice the Father gives you that choice and Jesus made the way for you to choose. and there are only two choices, after you die there is no changing your mind. you can choose heaven, OR you can choose hell. Now if you decide you want to go to Heaven then I think you had better start to get to know Jesus, because it is only through Him that you may enter Heaven, the good thing is you dont have to bribe Him, you dont have to buy a ticket, you dont have to beg and plead. all you have to do is accept that He has already paid the price for you, He has already suffered the consequences for your sins, shortcomings, your faults, and misgivings.
Now if you choose Hell, then this is simple. you dont have to accept the Devil, you dont have to do anything out of the ordinary, nothing drastic and you dont even have to curse God. all you have to do before you die is keep on doing what you want, make yourself the ruler of your life, follow the world, in way thought and deed. all in all without having to speak the words you just keep denying Christ Jesus.

I don't know, but I had a friend that had a near death experience, and he saw a bright figure standing with his son, who was killed in Viet Nam, and his wife that had passed away some years before. He was rational and quite lucid. I then asked him a question. "Was there any sense of before, during, or after, during all this?" He looked startled and said, 'No one has asked that except you. No, it happened outside of time... I don't know any other way to describe it.' He lived for about another five years after that. He wasn't the kind of man given to frivolous behavior or tall tales. But he no longer had any fear of death. God bless you, Nick Carter! R.I.P. Sure gives me a lot of comfort about my own demise.

1-1=0
life - life= death = nothing
The Bible agrees with the math above. Christian Saints are said to be asleep, awaiting the resurrection that commences during Christ's presence. In death, no love, hate, or thought remains -- everything is zeroed out.

I can't prove or disprove anything that might or will happen once we meet our final appointment.
So it's best not to worry about it. It can't be avoided, it is therefore best to meet it and make peace with the fact of it.

i dont use words like die and death, but rather passing on
i think we move on to the next phase of our journey, that our lives are not just limited to this time on earth, but our lives reside in our spirits, our core self
ps: i think in terms of , we are someplace before we come here, and we go on to someplace else when our time here is done,
