Sometimes when I'm coming home and have to stop for bread, milk or dinner for the night, it would be nice to go through a drive through grocery store.

Yep, there are. Among them are Florida's Farm Stores that have drive-thru service, and 7-Eleven was testing a drive-thru at its laboratory store in Plano, Texas, but I don't know how that turned out. Also, there was one called Groceries to Go, a drive-thru grocery store, in Rockwood, Oregon, if that's still around.

I sure wish there was one around here I could call, place and order, and pick up at a drive-thru window! It would sure be handy if there were only a few things I need. It takes so darned much time to find a parking space, go through the aisles getting what I want (bread and milk are about 100 miles apart in the stores here), then wait in the line for who-know-how-long to pay.

I don't think there's a drive through grocery store, but there are some places where major stores let you shop online and either pick it up already packaged for you or they will deliver for a fee. It just hasn't caught on in most places though. Check out Albertsons.com, they do it in some places. This is something I have thought about doing though, a drive through convenience store. I know there are beer stores and a few cigarette places, but nothing where you can buy regularly needed items like bread, milk, eggs, and whatnot.

Wish such a thing existed. Or I'd like to be able to call in a grocery order and have it delivered.

Believe it or not, the local beer & wine drive-thru in my area sells milk, bread, and packaged cold cuts.
