For my friends, they get a hug for women, and big hand shake for the guys. (Baptist roots) I usually get a "Hi Sweetie" from my wife, but lately I've been working pretty hard and my wife hasn't seen me for 16 hours at a time. So she has been a bit more frisky in her greetings.

When I was younger, at high school, it was the hug for the girls and nod for the guys. Now most would say that this was an obvious attempt at groping girls, but, really it was just the way Kansas boys did things. When we moved to California and after the first month of school, there would be dozens of girls running up with their arms out wide to say good morning, in a fake Kansan accent. It was just natural. This wasn't a love of anticipation but, a genuine brotherly and sisterly love. I don't know but, I think it's healthy. I made so many friends so quick (girls that is) that I think it was good for my friends too.

Love comes in many forms.

The greeting changes depending on who it is I speak to.

I would not tell a parent of relative the same thing I would tell a girlfriend.

That really depends on the day and what I'm doing. Usually it's "hi honey" and a peck. Sometimes I add a hug. Always with a big smile.

I say, " Come Here Lover Boy," and if he still doesn't answer I say, " Baby, my sweet baby. Your the one." Can't remember the couple who sang it. Love the sound track to "Dirty Dancing" though.
