Nothing, except for refinement and manners. A gentleman is well versed in etiquette and enjoys being charming. A gentleman enjoys taking care of the woman in his company or helping a stranger on the street.

i believe they are both. a man and a gentlemen takes care of his responsibilities and has respect for himself as well as the opposite sex. has set out morals and standards for himself and ambitious. i could go on and on. a true man is a gentlemen. otherwise...he's a boy.
just because he has a penis doesn't make him a man.
