I used all different kinds of mascara. I used volume exact by covergirl, magnascopic by estee lauder, and I'm currently using 3d extreme by revlon. I've tried curling my eyelashes before applying mascara, still doesn't work. I put mascara on then curl my eyelashes with a eyelash curler, but it still does not stayed curl. =/ I'm fine with lengthening and volumizing my eyelashes, but it would never stayed curled. Can someone please help me... I want really nice curled eyelashes!

After you are finished putting on the mascara, close your eyes and spray rosewater freshener on your face. It WON'T sting, but it will make your makeup set and stay on...+ it will give you a pretty smell :o)

I have read great reviews on using the Mascara Base from Shiseido under regular mascara.

Many have said that their lashes actually stayed curled even after putting on the base and mascara and it seems many have tried it with great results with the Shu Uemura Mascara Basic.

I use the Shiseido eyelash curler and usually just try to warm up the metal between my hands if the dryer is not handy and that seems to do the trick. I used to use the Shu Uemura lash curler but when I had to get a new one, I decided to try the Shiseido and wow, it IS better than the Shu although the Shu is superior to the other drugstore brands.

Make sure you are applying a good coat of mascara to the BASE of your lashes. If you do not, and apply it evenly throughout, then your lashes get too heavy on the ends and droop as a result. So yes, use a heated eyelash curler, but also make sure you have a good coat of mascara at the base of your lashes before you apply it to the ends. Good luck.

You could buy the warmup electric eyelash curler (look it up online) if you're THAT into getting curled lashes. Otherwise, do what my sister does and go natural. Her lashes never stay curled, so she just lets 'em go...no mascara or anything. It actually looks very good natural.

Heat the lash curler first w/ a blow dryer for a few seconds. Check the temperature w/ your hand before curling your lashes.

I've seen makeup artists on TV use a blowdryer to heat up the curler a little. Good luck!

try applying heat to the eyelash curler. use a hair dryer on it for a few seconds, then try to curl them. this is what i do to keep mine curled.

You can use a blowdryer to heat up the eyelash curler and then use it. It works pretty well actually.

Leave curling on a little longer so it stays curled longer.

They can actually perm your lashes for about 30 dollars and you'll wont have to mess with them for some time.
