Our friends just named their son Kaian, sounding similar to cayenne pepper. I don't like it - too much like the pepper!! NO it is NONE of my business and I would NEVER say anything. I was just wondering what other opinions are...

Definitely not for a boy......a girl MAYBE....but NOT for a boy!!

I like it, its very close to my sons name which is Kyane(pronounced Kye arn) it really suits him as its a unique name and Kye is a very unique boy, Kai in Hawaiin means the sea and in Scottish it means fire

Don't like. Maybe you could call the kid by his initials or something. You could start a trend and then he wouldn't be doomed to that name.

I really do not like it. If it were pronounced Kayanne, then it would be a pretty name for a girl.
