on myspace someone has a quote that says "spoon feeding teaches us nothing but the shape of the spoon." what does this mean? i like the quote. would it be stupid for me to have it. im 15 and in high school. wont people think im dumb?

I think it means you need to do things for yourself or you'll never know what else there is

You have to learn things for yourself -the hard way by studying, memorizing , researching. etc, and not just have someone give you a good grade for copying down the answers or what is told to you .
