I have to say that I feel much more who I really am online!!

in person, I am too self concious.

despite what other people were saying in my last question......I think you feel more comfortable online talking to someone due to your lessened self conciousness.

I do feel more comfortable talking to people online because I don't have to worry about what I look like and I more time to think of better responses. In person, I am also self conscious.

I can be much more myself online. I keep things all bottled up in my mind in person. I am way too quiet unless I know you extremely well or really force myself to have conversations. It's like I can't get the right words out in person so I don't say anything.

When I was less confident in myself, I felt waaaay more comfortable on-line! In junior high, I spent every second of my free time on-line. I felt it gave me a place to be *me*, without people making fun or me for how I dressed or what I looked like! As I get older, I'm more confident with who I am, my looks, my weight, etc and I'm more myself in person. Did that make sense?

I think online because your amongst people who you don't know and have not ties to what so ever. You are %100 free to say exactly what your thinking as opposed to worrying about how friends/family members/co-workers will think about you.

I have tended to use body language when communicating, which leads me to think I would me "more" of myself in person...but at the same time, I am without physical judgement from the other person and can really let out what my thoughts are.

instead of trying to impress them with bs so they can see past my imperfections. :)

Both really. I'm just a 95% real person.

Sometimes, when you're not happy, but others around you ask how you are, you, once in a while, tell a lie. That's why I'm not 100%. ;)

If I had to pick, I'm more "me" online.

yes you can be more your true self, but how would the other person online know that,as It also gives more opportunity for lies when online.

Both. What you hear and what you read on line is the real me. My obsession with Yahoo Q and A has helped improve my communication skills, and I really appreciate that!
