All you have to do is look at the skinny athletic kid Bonds was when he was signed then look at what he became physically throughout the years. I believe he took the roids. You can get working muscle and fill out and thicken up over the years, but I don't know anyone that filled out like that skinny little buck05 kid did. He may just be an anomaly....I truly doubt it though. I think he cheated. Just because he can pass a piss test doesn't mean he didn't. Theirs all kinds of supplements and get clean quick drinks you can take and I know he had the money to buy as many as he needed to get clean quick. He's Barry Bonds you can't tell me when they told him to go take a UA that he just jumped in the Ferrari and went...he did it on his own time. Whatever.

I think America should be emberassed for vandalizing the 756 ball. Americas in denial about the record being broken and there being babies about it so they marked the ball. To everyone that says it should be marked, cry me a river, build a bridge, jump off it. Let it go. All this coming from a white Tigers fan, so don't say it has to do with race or cuz I like the Giants, cuz i don't. Marking the ball was an insult to baseball then, baseball now, and baseball in the future.

I agree, because people are going to figure out that baseball and the federal goverment went after Barry Bonds, like he was the only person juicing out their. True, they suspended people over the hgh or roids, and federal goverment busted a few ball players like Jason Grimsly, but both Bud Segil and the federal goverment are after him. People have to understand that at least 98% of the league is juicing. I know many minor leaguers, and they juice. True two of them have been busted but the others has not. These players are trying to become better at their job. I think every record that is broke is legit.

Ecko should have waited. No one knows if Bonds took steriods. Not yet. Not with any tangible proof.
But even if Bonds did take steroids, there's no way to determine if they helped or hindered him in breaking the home run record. There have been theories published, but no one has actually conducted a real study using real athletes.
Ecko should have waited until there was incontrovertible proof that Bonds took steroids and that taking steroids gave him an unfair advantage.

It may be embarrassing to Marc Ecko, but I'm sure the hall will hide the asterisk. Barry Bonds will never be considered the greatest baseball player of all time. And his record will be broken sooner than later so it doesn't even matter.

INNOCENT TILL FREAKIN PROVEN GUILTY! PEOPLE JUST HOP ON THE BANDWAGON. SOME PEOPLE ARE TOO STUPID TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES.
People could have voted as many times as they wanted. I myself voted to send the ball to Cooperstown.
I don't agree with the decision. Barry Bonds was NEVER FOUND GUILTY of taking steroids. People are simply trying to belittle his skills, he is an amazing baseball player. Go online and check the milestone tracker and you'll see Bonds is going to achieve even more grand records. 3000 hits, 2000 rbi's, etc.
Marking the ball with an asterisk is an insult to the game of baseball, and an insult to Bonds.

I agree, it's a shame. You take something that means so much to the sport and deface it. Regardless of how Bonds got there, this ball meant a lot to baseball.

no because these people are not doing it to improve their health! They are boosting to gain muscle and power. SEE WHAT EVERYONE FAILS TO REALIZE IS THAT IF IT DIDNT EFFECT YOUR ABILITY THEN THESE GUYS WOULDNT DO IT!!!!! they are trying to get bigger because they want to hit more homers and throw the ball better. Bonds was Great when he didnt take drugs but that doesnt mean he was going to take Arrons record for home runs! He Cheated and thats that!

It is embarassing in knowing we spit on the American way by crucifying Bonds when they can't prove a thing. He passes every steroid test. I'm afraid of the day that all someone has to do to kill someone's career is to accuse. Michael Phelps - professional olympic swimmer. He broke records and all you have to do to kill his name is write a book and say he took steroids. Lance Armstrong was accused and people question his 7 victories. Nothing was proven. If we started accusing Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Brett Favre, and Wayne Gretzky, I'm afraid people would believe. It's a shame.
