Peppers is the best defensive end in football and will go down in history as the best ever. How many other defensive ends have lined up on offense (tight end) and caught a touchdown pass??? NONE. Much of Rucker's success is due to the fact Peppers is on the other end. Of the others, Strahan is by far the best.

Michael Strahan is nowhere near his prime, Julius Peppers is. I'd say right now without a question Peppers, Strahan 6 or 7 years ago again Peppers would be a tough decision.

Peppers is the best of the group. He is younger and he is faster. His speed from DE dominates games. In a 3-4 scheme, he would rank with Shawne Merrimen and Adalius Thomas as the best OLBs in the league.

Strahan is too old and doesn't have too long left. Same with Rice. Rucker doesn't have as much speed as Peppers does.

If you were putting a team together and had to take one of those 4 to anchor your D-line, Peppers would be the best choice easily (however, Mario Williams has the potential to become as good as Peppers in a few years).

Rucker is solid, but i think he was benefiting from the attention Peppers was getting. Despite that fact that he seems to be struggling right now, ill say Peppers

You're right. they are all great players but, Strahan, has been good longer. I'm keeping an eye on Peppers too, though. if He stays consistent, He could very well surpass, Strahan.

At the moment its Peppers. Strahan has had the better career.

Julius Peppers hands down. Peppers is around 6-7 280 lbs. He can run faster than a running back and can flatten people so fast IHOP will say "holy crap!"
