The Home run ball is headed to the Hall of Fame with an asterisk. I have one question for all you guys out there, WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!?!? First off, Barrry Bonds may have never taken steriods (Have you idiots heard the term innocent until proven guilty?????). Way to deface an important object of history. How would you like it if i just walked into the Hall of Fame and spray-painted all of the items, just because I was suspicious that the HOF players cheated somehow? And as for you, Mr. Ecko, thanks for giving us a good look of what the true meaning of retarded is, with your stupid little publicity stunt. You spent $750,000 for....nothing, you F-ing dumb*ss. You wanted to send the ball to the HOF, but instead it has an asterisk on it, thanks to your f-ing retarded publicity stunt. What are you gonna do next? Buy a Giambi jersey and send it to the HOF with an asterisk on it? However, I agree with Barry, that the ball is not important, because the record still stands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree completely with you.
People could have voted as many times as they wanted. I myself voted to send the ball to Cooperstown.
I don't agree with the decision. Barry Bonds was NEVER FOUND GUILTY of taking steroids. People are simply trying to belittle his skills, he is an amazing baseball player. Go online and check the milestone tracker and you'll see Bonds is going to achieve even more grand records. 3000 hits, 2000 rbi's, etc.
Marking the ball with an asterisk is an insult to the game of baseball, and an insult to Bonds.

Well, the chances that is going to be worth less are little. And over time, it will gain worth. Also, Mark McGwire has not been on the hot seat for steroids as much as Barry Bonds has. But right now, I see it selling for an easy 3 million dollars on eBay.

I personally consider the question of steroid use irrelevant. If we want to ban athletes from improving their talent level, then to not be hypocritical, we have to ban alot of things. We have to ban Tommy John Surgury because it is unfair to the great pitchers who lost their careers to injury. We should ban the use of the Stick by Stan bat. We should repeal the clean baseball rule that was put in place after Ray Chapman died.
The anti-steroid arguments are just as absurd. I don't care whether Bonds did steroids or not. He has a right to do whatever he wants with his body (as everybody does), even if some people may not always respect those rights (for example, our society has an idiotic Drug War and idiotic laws prohibiting people under some arbitrary age from drinking alcohol or smoking tobacco). Whether or not we believe a choice is desirable, it is still wrong to prohibit somebody from making that choice, provided that choice doesn't directly harm others (for example, a choice to murder somebody or to steal).
If Bonds used steroids, not only was it not against baseball's rules, but regardless of what the government (and their media propaganda organ) thinks, he had every right to do so.

Bonds' home run ball deserves to be sent to the hall of fame WITHOUT an asterisk. For all of you people who think that steroids was the reason for bonds' home runs, then why don't you go take some steroids and see if you can hit over 760 major league home runs. Good luck with that...

Did baseball even have a steroid policy when he allegedly took them? How is it cheating if there's no rules broken?
