Its a old stain and I've already washed and dried the sweater.

provided you haven't washed the sweater and set the stain, go to auto parts store and buy GUMOUT or CRC brand card and choke cleaner or "BRAKLEEN". It is carbon tetrachloride and is exactly what is used in dry cleaning process. Just beware-use it outside because unless you're a hardcore motorhead, this stuff smells nasty. If you get a some on your skin just wash it off . I tdoesn't burn or sting.

You know what gets grease out of a sweater? More grease! I know it sounds silly but it's totally true.

I don't sell this and don't know anyone who does, but LOC by Amway will take it out with cold water.
