Oh I would care but, really it is useless to try to do much about it until the person is ready to be less 'mad'
If I owe an apology I offer it right away-sometimes even that has to wait until the other person has cooled off at least enough to listen.
Unless I have done something awful to deserve it I just let some time pass and try not to feel beat up over it .

It depends.
If I care about the person, it bothers me a whole lot if they're mad at me. (Even if I haven't done anything) It really bothers me.
BUT, if I don't like the person then I actually like the fact that they're harboring resentment towards me. If they're mad at me, they're probably going to ignore me, which is great, because I don't like them anyway. An even better scenario is a person who I don't like gets mad at me, and tries to act on it. An angry person is almost always on the brink of loosing control of the situation. I find that if you remain extremely calm when dealing with an angry person, your poise is enough to drive them right over the edge.
Then they end up making a mistake, or acting inappropriately, and the person who was mad at you ends up apologizing to you!

I am a wuss in such situations generally. I hate it when someone is mad with me. I want to make up and talk it over...If it is someone I don't care about to begin with fine, but I am not a angry person by nature..so it is hard for me to deal with. I try though..anger can be healthy...and we have to let other people feel what they need to feel.

It depends on who it is, if it's someone I care about than I would talk it out with the person, if it's some other random person I will just build a bridge and get over it, and just move on. : )

Depends who it is and if they have a legitimate reason to be upset with me. If it is someone I care about, I will try to rectify the situation... otherwise I could probably not care one whit.

I could care less. If I'm not mad at them, it's not my problem- it's theirs.
@Bistro: If I'm not the one who's mad, I don't see why it's my problem. Especially if it's the kind of mad where they act like you know what you did to make them mad. :\

They will get over it eventually or they do not need to be in my life.
Life is to short to worry with petty things. There are very few things, in the grand scheme of life, that are not petty things.
