Okay, first of all, calm down. These are simple issues, and if you are this upset now, I can't imagine what you will be like before a major exam!

First of all, if it says that certain requirements will be waived if you have been out of high school for more than 5 years, it means that these things are no longer relevant if you have been out of school for a while. It doesn't mean that you won't get in if you have been out for more than five years; in fact, it means that you will get an advantage - that they won't count certain information for you. I can't find the passage you mention, but let's say they say that they will waive the SAT for someone who has been out of high school for more than 5 years. That means that if you are not a recent high school student, you don't have to take the SAT, and if the rest of your record is good enough, you can get in anyway.

As for going to a community college, that would make you a normal transfer student. Look at their requirements for transfer students. You can definitely do that, as long as your associates degree is one which is academic, rather than trade-oriented, in nature.

Waiving the requirements means that you do NOT have to meet the requirements. So, if you've been out of high school for more than 5 years, whatever the requirements are, they don't apply to you.

I don't think it means you can't get in. I think it means that whatever you normally need to get in if you left school less than 5 years ago doesn't apply if you left more than 5 years ago. So, you might need less qualifications or something like that. 'Waived' generally means something won't be required. Why don't you give them a call, or send an email, tell them your situation and find out what qualifications you need to get in?

You're in community college, you're in school. It's not a problem.

Damn girl, going to college and no critical thinking skills whatsoever.

Work on it honeychild.
